All in the past, all that will last: / what kept me going. / When I was certain—knowing is gone… / Gone. 

Perhaps this is forevermore: / no texting and no typing, / no call, nothing exciting… / Nothing-burger with some fries.

Haunted by the steps we took / so many times, so many lines. / I see the path; I see ahead / a different shade; though it’s still red…
